Visas

While travel to Cuba from or through the U.S for tourism is still not permitted, reasons for visiting Cuba may fall under one of the following requirements:

 

  • Family visit
  • Business of the U.S. government, foreign governments, and certain intergovernmental organizations
  • Journalistic activity
  • Professional research/business meeting
  • Educational trip
  • Religious trip
  • Public performance, clinic, workshop, exhibition and athletic or other competition
  • Support of the Cuban people
  • Humanitarian project
  • Activity of private foundation or research or educational institute
  • Exportation, importation, or transmission of informational materials
  • Certain export transactions that may be considered for authorization under existing regulations and guidelines

 

Travelers to Cuba subject to U.S. jurisdiction must comply with certain legal requirements. See Section II ‘Travel’. EACH GUEST will be required to complete and present this affidavit at check-in.
